This week I celebrated my 29th birthday. Even though I am one year closer to turning 30 (yikes!), it was a fun and eventful day. I had breakfast with my parents; visited with my sister and nephews; took a birthday nap (like a regular nap, only you don’t have to feel guilty because it’s your birthday); saw The Debt, which was really not birthday material, but good nonetheless; had cake and ice cream; and finished off the day with one too many margaritas. I thoroughly enjoyed my day, but I would have to say my favorite part was the cake that Dustin (my thoughtful husband) made for me. He asked me the day before my birthday what kind of cake I wanted, to which I playfully responded, “A robot cake!” To my surprise, that’s exactly what I got, and what he came up with really takes the cake (sorry! I couldn’t resist!). Unfortunately, I don't have a recipe or directions on how to recreate this beauty; I just wanted to share :)

I think events like this can make the overall status of the society to improve. It is a nice idea from the professionals to conduct such a giving day to help the people who are left helpless in the societyJogos online
